ABSTRACT

The study is all about design and implementation of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities. The current study is concerned with reducing work lag-time on electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities platforms, and delivering undergraduates and postgraduate programmes all over the world. The research has taken highlighted various kinds of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities platforms such as teleconferencing, virtual reality and video-conferencing. It addresses the following: the impact of resource materials on the design and implementation of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities in Nigeria; impact of awareness creation on the design and implementation of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities in Nigeria; impact of computer literacy electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities in Nigeria; the impact of personal computer on the design and implementation of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities on Nigeria; how constant power supply affect design and implementation of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities in Nigeria. The design is exploratory while the source of data is chiefly secondary. It discovers that electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities has not gained ground in Nigeria due to poor awareness, poor electricity generation and poverty that hinders the purchase of personal computers by learners. It concludes that government should produce quality electricity and good awareness should be created. This project is implemented with Dreamweaver, fireworks and flash

                                                                                                                        1.0 Background of study

The term learning technologies encompasses information and instructional technology, as well as telecommunications tools, applications, and systems that support learning. The EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) explores the possible benefits and challenges of individual learning technologies, but also considers the potential impact their integration may have on advancing teaching and learning. To maximize the transformative effect of learning technologies, we look for uses of electronic learning (e_learning) system for nigeria universities that are replicable across institutions and disciplines. 

Learning technologies is the inexorable trend of the application of modern information technology in education. It is one of the major learning methods in the era of information. Broadly, online learning is a learning process where learners consciously and purposefully acquire knowledge and ability.
The online learning involved in this paper refers to the online education where students, using the Internet environment and online education resources under the guidance of relevant information and teachers, based on the teaching objectives (these objectives are normally established under the guidance of education values), adopt the autonomous learning or corporative learning in their learning activities. People are more concerned with learners’ learning results through this new type of learning method. Therefore, to conduct an effective evaluation of online education is one of the significant factors to guarantee the sound development of online education.
